Come walk with me child, and I will give peace to your mind, heart, soul, and you're tired and broken body. I will be the pillow whereupon you may lay your weary head.

Cast your worries at my feet, for I am anxious your staff to be. I long to shoulder your burdens, lighten your heavy load, and to calm your troubled mind, just ask me child.

Put your trust in me, for I am here to lead you and guide you, with all the tender guidance of a loving parent. Relinquish all cares unto me, I will be with you through every challenge you encounter in this mortal life. I am your Father, and long to be with you through the eternities.

Turn to me when your heart is weary, and your will is weak. I desire to take you to my bosom and comfort you, strengthen you, direct your path, and lift you to a realization of your infinite worth in my sight.

You are my child, I am aware of your every thought, deed, desire, and need, both of the physical and of the spirit. Nothing escapes my all encompassing eye, for all is mine and I know all of my creations, they are of immeasurable worth to me.

When you lose your way, seek me. You will find rest there, and a peace unlike any other you have known. You will find joy beyond measure that will fill your heart to overflowing.

Ask me child, then place your very being and all your cares into my hands, I will carry you when you have not the strength to stand. I will bear you up as if upon eagle's wings. I am the light in the storm, by which you can see your way when the fierce winds blow against you, and you are battered and blinded by the torrent.

Stand strong and firm against the temptations of the evil one who would bind you, who wishes to carry you down to the depths of despair. Speak my name; invite me to be your mighty warrior in the battles you fight, I will be your conquering sword.

My hands are outstretched before you, you need only take them. Believe in me for I have the answer to your every question. I am the Master, and I rule with love and tenderness, with a gentle hand and unbounded patience.

Though the powers of darkness may surround, and threaten, remember oh child, in my hands is a mighty strength as well as gentleness, and there is none mightier than I, child lean upon me your rock and only sure way.

Phew, your article is really beautiful, Kim. I love that you don't write of punishment, but only of unconditional love. For me that is what God is.
